Thailand Visa on Arrival Fee Waiver Extended in 2019

As you might already know, Thai government has waived Visa on Arrival fees for 2 months at the end of 2018. Now we have great news for everyone who couldn’t use visa fee exemption on time – Thailand Visa on Arrival fees waiver is extended in 2019 and you will be able get free Visa on Arrival for few more months!

Thai Visa on Arrival can be issued for the citizens of 21 countries, including China and India. Full list of the countries eligible for this kind of Thailand visa can be found here: Thailand Visa on Arrival.

Current Thailand Visa on Arrival fees are 2000 THB (~60 USD) per person so the exemption of these visa fees is a really attractive offer to a big number of Chinese, Indians, Taiwanese and other foreign visitors.

Visa on Arrival fee exemption was implemented between November 15, 2018 and January 13, 2019 so far. However, now the Cabinet announced that Thailand Visa on Arrival fee exemption will be extended until April 30, 2019. If you are planning to celebrate Chinese New Year or Songkran Festival in Thailand, now you can make it significantly cheaper!

An extension of Visa on Arrival fee exemption was published by the Cabinet on 8th of January, 2019. Visa on Arrival fee waiver extension from 14 January 2019 to 30 April 2019 IS FINALLY CONFIRMED.
